The Tirol Festival Erl will present a rich variety of cultural highlights for music lovers, including Bach’s Christmas Oratorio, six opera performances and chamber music concerts.
This year’s winter season at the Tirol Festival Erl again opens with Johann Sebastian Bach’s Christmas Oratorio and continues with six opera performances, including Pietro Mascagni’s “L’amico Fritz” and Adolphe Adam’s “Le postillon de Lonjumeau”. Of course, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day concerts are part of the seasonal programming as well. Moreover, two chamber music concerts are scheduled. The winter program also includes a concert by Musicabanda Franui, a concert given by the Tölz Boys’ Choir and a special featuring Schwaz-based composer and Jazz trumpet player Franz Hackl, performing his own personal “winter journey”.
