The Tirol Festival Erl will present a rich variety of cultural highlights for music lovers, including Bach’s Christmas Oratorio, opera performances and concerts in accordance with Covid-19 regulations.
The ninth winter season at the Tirol Festival Erl opens with Johann Sebastian Bach’s Christmas Oratorio and continues with six opera performances, including Donizetti’s “Don Pasquale” and Mascagni’s “L’amico Fritz”. According to COVID-19 guidelines, limited seating capacity will be enforced to provide visitors with the flexibility to achieve distancing. To offer more people the chance to enjoy the Christmas Oratorio, the final dress rehearsal on December 12, 2020, will be open to the public. Of course, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day concerts are part of the seasonal programming as well. Limited seating capacity will be enforced, too, thus two additional performances are scheduled. The winter program also includes a concert by Musicabanda Franui, a family concert and a special featuring Schwaz-based composer and Jazz trumpet player Franz Hackl.
