Rainy Days Out With Kids

Drizzles or downpours won't turn your vacation in the Heart of the Alps into a wash-out. There are plenty of attractions and activities for rainy days that will get you happily through the wettest of weather!

Sometimes it is those rainy days that turn out to be the most memorabl holiday highlights. You might visit a museum you never would have thought about going to and suddenly realise that time has flown by. Of course, Tirol's cultural attractions are more than just a wet weather alternative, but anyone who has been to Ambras Castle or the Ferdinandeum in Innsbruck, the Museum of Peoples in Schwaz or the Tirol-Panorama museum on a wet day will thank the heavens that the heavens have opened. Other options include swimming pools, spas, or a visit to one of the fun indoor play areas. Or why not try something completely new and check out one of the local dairy farms open to the public to see cheesemaking in all its glory?
