Mösern Trail (B1)

XC skiing trail open

Plenty of sunshine, lots of space for beginners to practise and some wonderful scenery to enjoy as you glide along! It is little surprise that the Mösern Trail is one of the most popular cross-country skiing trails in Seefeld. It offers connections to several other trails. A section of the Mösern Trail leads along the World Cup Trail. The trail is kept in excellent condition throughout the season, with snow-making facilities on hand to help out if there is a shortage of the white stuff.

Trail description

Leaving from the Seekirchl chapel in Seefeld, the Mösern Trail leads through the World Championships Arena uphill through a section of forest to the Seewaldalm hut (a good place stop for a rest) before running parallel to the main road for a while. Shortly before you reach Mösern, it's time to turn around and head back. This return leg initially leads through forest, again running parallel to the main road, before heading past the Kirchwald forest and turning into the World Championships Arena before conlcuding at the place where you started, the Seekirchl chapel. You can also access this trail from the Seewaldalm hut (a bus operates between Seefeld and the Seewaldalm hut).
