XC skiing trail closed
Intermediate Schwaigs XC Ski Track has its trailhead at the Oberberg Nordic Ski Center in Walchsee. The 9-kilometer long loop track heads northwards to the hamlet of Winkl and brings you back to your point of departure. Schwaigs XC Ski Track has both skating and traditional striding lanes.

Access to the Schwaigs XC Ski Track is located at the Oberberg Nordic Ski Center at the west end of Walchsee. The track heads northwards to the hamlet of Winkl and back to the trail crossing at Snowslider. You’ll pass Moarhof Hotel on your right hand side and continue to the hamlet of Unterlindrain. On the northern plunge of Miesberg Mountain, the track coincides with Miesberg XC Ski Track. You’ll almost reach the valley floor at the hamlet of Ankerwald which is situated close to the moorlands. Eventually, the loop brings you back to the Nordic Ski Center.
