Bike Trail Tirol Stage 27: Imst - Venetalm - Wenns

This very difficult stage connects Inntal Valley to Pitztal Valley. Among the undisputed highlights – in the true sense of the word – ranks scenic Venetalm located at some 2000 meters above sea level. A steep gravel road takes you up to this pastureland area of awesome natural beauty.

  • On only 15 kilometers you have to conquer no less than 1200 meters of altitude gain. This stage requires enough stamina and an excellent physical shape. All efforts are rewarded with a breathtaking panorama.
  • First you follow the official Inn Cycleway until you reach Imst Au: here a steeply ascending and switch-backing trail leads up to scenic Venetalm where you can enjoy a nice rest stop and superb panoramic views.
  • From Venetalm you follow the trail towards Wenns, a splendid and quite long downhill route ideal for passionate downhill bikers.
