A strenuous uphill trail, a romantic little church and a long downhill gravel route stand for this picturesque, 13-kilometer long mountain bike route - leading from Wipptal Valley across Waldraster Jöchl Ridge to Stubaital Valley.
- The tour's first destination is the superb Maria Waldrast pilgrimage church at 1641 meters above sea level, ranking among Europe's highest monasteries. A rustic inn can be found right next to the church - ideal for a rest stop! The asphalt trail ends here. There is also a second route leading along the toboggan track which runs parallel to the road.
- From the monastery inn you have to conquer another 100 meters of altitude gain on a gravel trail until you get to the highest point of the tour.
- From Waldraster Jöchl Ridge a speedy downhill gravel track leads - past pilgrims' wayside shrines - to Mieders in Stubaital Valley.
- Transalp bikers can also make the tour the other way round. But the route mentioned here has one advantage: the steepest part of the trail travels on asphalt and is therefore much easier to handle.
