Westendorf - Windautal - Westendorf

A relaxing ebike adventure starting in Kirchberg and leading cyclists into the Westendorfer Windautal Valley up as far as the Gasthaus Steinberg. This varied ride takes around 2 hours and includes sunny and shady sections. After a drink and snack at the Gasthaus Steinberg, return along the same path to Kirchberg.

  • Each climb is rewarded with wonderful views of the valley and the mountains of the Kitzbühel Alps to the south and the Wilder Kaiser to the north.
  • A hearty lunch of local food is the best way to refuel. The idyllic Gasthaus Steinberg in the Westendorfer Windautal Valley serves traditional Tirolean dishes and is a member of the Brixentaler KochArt, an association of huts and guesthouses in the region dedicated to using only ingredients sourced from local producers.
