Trail description

From the “Langlaufstüberl” building at the entrance to the Karwendeltäler Valleys in Pertisau, the route leads along a tarmac toll road into the Gerntal Valley. Follow the road to the Pletzachalm (1,040 metres) on the right-hand side of the Pletzachbach stream. On the left-hand bank of the stream, continue for around 780 metres to the car park and then turn left onto a forest trail. This heads south and leads up via a number of corners to the Feilalm hut at 1,372 metres. From there, take the uphill trail to the point where the routes to Gütenbergalm and Feilkopf intersect. Take the right-hand option to get to the Feilkopf mountain.
