This mountain bike ride starting in the village of Mutters near Innsbruck leads up to the Mutterer Alm hut and on to the pretty Raitiser Alm hut. Along the way, riders can enjoy wonderful views of the surrounding mountains. The route leads into the Bikepark Innsbruck, across meadows and through forests all the way up to 1,600 metres above sea level. The hut's large terrace offers majestic views of the Stubai Alps, the Karwendel Mountains and even the Zugspitze, Germany's highest mountain.

Trail description
This ride begins at the bottom of the Muttereralmbahn cable car. Take route 510 along the tarmaced Nockhofweg and then switch to a smooth forest path heading in a south-westerly direction through forests and meadows. The route runs parallel to a trail, past the Gasthaus Nockhof at 1,260 metres. Continue along the toboggan run uphill until you reach the Mutterer Alm hut at 1,600 metres. From here, take the trail heading in a south-easterly direction to the Raitiser Alm (closed).
Return along the way you came.
Tip! The Muttereralmbahn cable car transports bikes and riders up to the Mutter Alm hut.
