Tour 615 up to the Obermarkter Alm initially leads along tarmac and forest roads before climbing up through lush meadows. After around one and a half hours in the saddle, cyclists will reach the wide open pastures of the Obermarkter Alm at 1,575m with grazing cattle and stunning mountain views. A little further up, at 1,623m, lies the Latschenhütte hut serving drinks and snacks.
- The Maria Himmelfahrt parish church in Imst is well worth a visit before starting this ride. Dating back to the 15th century, it has the tallest church spire in Tirol (84.5 metres).
- In early September traditional festivities are held in the region to celebrate the cattle being brought back down into the valley after spending the summer months grazing on the high pastures of the Obermarkter Alm.
- The sunny Latschenhütte hut is an ideal place to stock up on energy with a traditional snack before riding back down into the valley.
