Buggy-Friendly Walk: Gleirschalm

The walk starts at the large pay-and-display car park in the village of St. Sigmund. From there, follow the well-signposted trail past a forest play area and over a small bridge. It is here that in winter the walking path branches off from the toboggan run. In summer you take the road on the right (the toboggan run in winter) and walk up through the forest. A little skill is required to negotiate the narrow gate at the barrier. Here it is a good idea to take the baby out of the buggy and carry it through. From there it is just 15 minutes to the hut. Return along the same route back to the starting point.
