The four-man Buchsteinwand chairlift transports guests in just a few minutes onto what is one of the prettiest mountains in the Pillerseetal Valley. Near the top of the cable car there are plenty of walking and mountainbiking trails as well as regular events such as concerts and mountain mass. At the summit of the Buchsteinwand mountain there is a traditional restaurant serving traditional Tirolean food. Its large sun terrace offers great views of the Wilder Kaiser Mountains, the Leogang Rocky Mountains and the Kitzbühel Alps. One of the most popular attractions is the Cross of St Jacob, a huge free-standing cross and viewing platform that draws many pilgrims and other visitors.
