Easy to reach, family friendly and with a touch of gourmet glamour, the Hochzillertal-Hochfügen ski resort has much more to offer than just great skiing.

Located just a few minutes' drive from the Inn Valley, the resort of Hochzillertal-Hochfügen in the Zillertal Valley is a snowsure wintersports destination that can be accessed from the village of Kaltenbach or from the village of Hochfügen at 1,500m. Families with children and beginners taking their first turns on snow will feel particularly at home In Hochzillertal-Hochfügen. At the same time, the funpark offers plenty of kickers, rails and other obstacles for snowboarders and freestyle skiers. Further highlights include a race course with a speed gun. The parents of Olympic champion Stephan Eberharter run a hotel down in the valley. Families will enjoy the children's area with a conveyor-belt lift, fun rollers, a children's restaurant and all-day childcare service.

After a hard day's skiing in the fresh mountain air, there is no better place to stop for a drink and a snack at one of the many slopeside huts and restaurants such as the Wedelhütte with the highest underground wine cave in the Alps. In Hochfügen there is even an award-winning haute cuisine restaurant called simply "Alexander".
