Egertboden Toboggan Run

The Egertboden Toboggan Run starts directly next to the Alpengasthof Egertboden in Schwaz or at the Gasthaus Schmadlegg, where you can stop for a drink and a snack before or after your run down. The ascent to the starting point of the toboggan run takes one hour on foot but is also possible by car. After an initial open section, the run heads into a mountain forest with some clearings offering marvellous views of the Karwendelgebirge mountain range on the opposite side of the valley. There are more fantastic views of the Inntal Valley and its surrounding towns and villages shortly before the end of the run.
