Gerlosstein Toboggan Run

Gerlosstein is home to the longest floodlit toboggan run in the Zillertal Valley. The ticket office of the Zillertal Arena ski area offers toboggan hire and all-inclusive toboggan packages (taxi transfer, toboggan hire and drink), while the 7km run winds its way down the slopes of the Hainzenberg and guarantees great fun for all the family. The 700 vertical metres to the top of the run can be climbed on foot (walking time over two hours) or using the Gerlossteinbahn cablecar. Hungry tobogganers can choose from a range of huts, including the Berghotel Gerlosstein and the Schlittenstadl. The run is open daily and is floodlit from Monday to Saturday until 1.00 in the morning.
