Grieralm Toboggan Run

The 90-minute walk to the top of the run starts in the village of Juns in Hintertux and ends at the Grieralm hut at an altitude of 1786m. The walk up is, in fact, a little longer than the toboggan run itself. Due to a shuttle taxi service up to the hut, tobogganing is only permitted at certain times: daily from 13.30 until 15.00, from 17.30 until 18.30 and from 22.30. The run is prepared every day and is floodlit at night. The Grieralm hut offers magnificent views of the mountains and glacier, serves delicious local food and is decorated with many wooden figures hand-carved by the hut owner.
