Latschenhütte Toboggan Run

Tobogganing at the Latschenhütte hut in Imst is a feast for the eyes and the stomach! However, first of all there is the small matter of the 2.5-hour walk from Rastbühel in Imst up 600 vertical metres to the cosy and picturesque Latschenhütte hut serving a selection of local dishes and offering wonderful views of the surrounding mountains, including the iconic Muttekopf. Night tobogganing is available every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Those who want to avoid the long walk up can take the lift from Hoch-Imst to the Untermarkter Alm. From there it is just a 30-minute walk to the Latschenhütte hut. From the end of the toboggan run it is then a 30-minute walk along the “Hachleweg” back to the car park in Hoch-Imst.
