Only about a 10-minute walk from the Speikbodenhütte, the FreiRaum Alm invites you to pause and take in the mountain world in peace. The wooden plateau offers a special view of the surrounding peaks and is equipped with comfortable wooden loungers – a beautiful place to linger, marvel, and breathe deeply.

Several information boards provide insights into the Nationalpark Hohe Tauern and tell of the importance of the alpine pastures as a developed cultural landscape that has been shaped by human labor for centuries.
