In the heart of Osttirol, in Hopfgarten in Defereggen, authentic beer with regional character has been produced since 2020. The Geigenseer Privatbrauerei stands for artisanal brewing, passion, and uncompromising quality – completely independent of large corporations, but with plenty of heart and a strong connection to its homeland.

The secret lies in the ingredients: natural, high-alpine water from the Romisquelle, selected aroma hops, high-quality malts, and special beer yeast give the Geigenseer its unmistakable taste. It is brewed according to the standard: authentic, natural, and unique – a beer from here, for here.

Geigenseer products are available for sale in numerous restaurants and shops. There is also the opportunity to purchase the beer directly on-site during the brewery's direct sales hours.
