Haus des Wassers (house of water)

Description

Two kilometers west of St. Jakob i. D. lies the "Haus des Wassers". Here, rangers from the Nationalpark Hohe Tauern teach ten to 17-year-olds about water, climate and sustainability.

The program includes water analyses as well as flow measurements on the Schwarzach river, various experiments with water and the identification of living creatures from the nearby waters.

Mainly for school classes, ranger tours can also be booked for groups all year round.
