The Gries Leisure Centre ice rink is situated on the shady side of Prägraten and, thanks to its location right next to the River Isel, offers perfect conditions for cool temperatures in winter. In winter, the sun may not shine here for more than two months.
Important: always check the outside temperature (the rink is closed if temperatures are too high)

Follow the L24 Virgentalstraße from Matrei through Virgen to Prägraten. Pass the hamlets of Bobojach and Wallhorn, the town hall, and immediately afterwards, at Pizzeria Petro, turn left towards “Café Gries”. Cross the next bridge and turn right. The ice rink is 150 metres further on, directly on the left-hand side.
