The Sacred Heart Church in Kreith is a picturesque branch church of the Mutters parish at the entrance to the Stubai Valley.
The scattered settlement of Kreith lies at the entrance to the Stubai Valley, south-west of the village of Mutters, into which it was incorporated in 1974.
In 1803–04, a chapel was built below the site of the present-day church. The church was built in 1924 to a design by engineer Max Thaler. The picturesque, compact building with its narrow transepts is particularly well known for its Sacred Heart Sunday celebrations in June.
