Description

The quiet alpine pasture between Seefeld and Scharnitz is located in the middle of the Lehenwald forest and is easily accessible for everyone, whether on foot on an easy hike (also easy to do with a baby carriage), by bike, e-bike or, thanks to the accessibility, also by car.
Once you arrive at the Alm, you can expect a small, down-to-earth kitchen, where great importance is attached to regionality and care is taken to ensure that there is something for every taste. The menu is extended at weekends with daily specials. Once they have had their fill, the children can explore the playground, marvel at small and large animals or splash around in the fountain. Meanwhile, grandma and grandpa can daydream under the large maple tree and mom and dad can talk in peace or enjoy the silence. The dog, on a leash please, can of course also take a seat. E-bikes can be charged on the Alm, but you must bring your own charger.

LOCATION & STARTING POINT
Many idyllic forest paths leading from Seefeld on foot or by (e-)bike to the small mountain pasture. From the Bodenalm you can continue your hike or simply stroll back to Seefeld in a relaxed atmosphere.

SUMMER TOURS

  • Circular hiking trail to Bodenalm. Walk from the train station to the Heilbadstraße. Once you reach the Heilbadstraße, follow it until you turn left into the Wasserfallweg and follow it to the Bodenalm (only open in summer). Once there, the alpine hut is perfect for a short rest.

  • Bike tour from Seefeld to Scharnitz. The wide forest bike trail leads from Seefeld to Scharnitz in a scenic and relaxed manner without any steep sections. The route runs not far from the main road on its own bike path, so you can enjoy the breathtaking scenery between the Zugspitze, Wetterstein and Karwendel mountains undisturbed. About halfway along the route, you can take a welcome break at the Bodenalm, or alternatively descend there on the way back for a hearty Tyrolean Brettljausn.
