With a unique ambience in a particularly idyllic panoramic location, the hut Enzianhütte offers hiking-, biking- and pleasure guests a welcome stop with a variety of delicacies, delicious refreshments and an expansive sun terrace with an amazing moutain view: From Reith to the Inn Valley, to the mountain panorama of the Nockspitz summit and Axamer Lizum, to the Rangger Köpfl and to the Rosskogl.

During the cold winter moths, a crackling fireplace also warms the wood-paneled Stubn. A hearty Brettljausn and the homemade apple strudel should not be missed here.

STARTING POINT
The brand new Enzian Hütte is located above Auland by Reith, and has been completely rebuilt. The original hut burnt down one icy November night and it took a lot of blood, sweat and tears, not to mention plenty of hand-crafted woodwork, to recreate the homely alm character. You can get to the Enzian Hütte from Seefeld by walking past the pretty lake, the Wildsee, or from theMösern side by walking around the Gschwandtkopf. It is an easy walk from the railway station at Reith down to Auland and on to the Enzian Hütte.

Circular tour around the Gschwandtkopf
This leisurely and picturesque circular tour is around ten kilometres and loops around the Gschwandtkopf from Seefeld via the Möserer valley towards Auland by Reith. There are some impressive views over the Inn valley along the way, as well as plenty of places where you can stop to recharge your batteries, including, of course, the charming Enzian Hütte.

Winter circular tour around the Gschwandtkopf
This circular tour of the snow-covered woodland around the Gschwandtkopf is about ten kilometres and there are some impressive views of the Inn valley along the way. Walkers can enjoy the wintry tranquillity and then warm up by the stove in the cosy Enzian Hütte just above Auland by Reith.

Snow shoe hike over the Gschwandkopf
This snowshoe tour takes you up and over the Gschwandtkopf and is a perfect way to enjoy the snow-covered winter landscape, the crunchy snow underfoot and some superb views. To finish, you can stop off at the picturesque Enzian Hütte in Auland by Reith, where you can warm up by the crackling stove in the wood-panelled room and treat yourself to some tasty specialities, served by the friendly host himself. You might even want to try one of the seasonal hot drinks he has on offer – or perhaps a schnaps as a reward for your efforts.
