Description

Directly on the Forststraße, halfway to the Rosshütte, lies the rustic Hochegg Alm (1,545 m). On the large sun terrace with a panoramic view of the region, one can wonderfully relax with typical Tyrolean delicacies, refreshing drinks, and a digestif. While parents enjoy the break, children can romp on the small playground. Just a 10-minute walk away is the Kaltwassersee. The lake is beautifully nestled in the mountains, and the benches along its shore invite you to rest with a scenic panorama.

STARTING POINT
The Alm can be reached on foot or by e-bike via a wide forest road. For those who prefer a leisurely approach, take the funicular to the Rosshütte middle station and relax on the descent to the Alm. There are plenty of parking options available at the valley station of the Rosshütte cable cars in Seefeld. Traveling by train to Seefeld is also possible.
