Description

The Rosshütte mountain restaurant lies at 1,760 metres above sea level and is a veritable paradise for fans of wintersports. Whether walking, cycling or just looking to relax, it offers the perfect place to meet up and in winter, skiers, snowboarders and ski tourers can rendezvous on the sun terrace. The glazed "Café Segafredo" at the Rosshütte mountain station invites you with its beautiful view of the Seefeld plateau at 1,760 meters and offers many cozy seating areas inside and outside on the sunny terrace. Next to the exit of the middle station is the spacious "Beer Garden 1760".Both with service.

The restaurant is open in summer and in winter and not only is there a fabulous view over the Inn valley and the surrounding Alps, there is also lots to do. There is an adventure playground for the children, a fantastic Sunkid slide and air cushion trampolining for some freestyle tricks. Getting to and from the restaurant is easy via the Rosshütte mountain lift system or you choose your own method of getting up and down depending on the season. Whatever you decide, the Region Seefeld's local‘ mountain is waiting to treat visitors to some great sporting and culinary delights.

STARTING POINT
The Rosshütte is within walking distance of Seefeld’s ICE railway station and the bus terminal and there is plenty of parking available at the bottom lift station for anyone arriving by car (parking is free for lift users). In winter, you can get to the mountain restaurant by following the marked ski touring trails and in summer, there are bike and family-friendly gravel paths.

SUMMER TOURS

• To the Rosshütte. You can get to the Rosshütte from the centre of Seefeld on foot or by (e)-bike. The ascent is graded moderate and the gravel trails to the mountain restaurant at 1,760 metres above sea level are well-marked. Ascend and descend by the same route.
