Innovation Meets Sustainability and Circular Design
Founded in 2000 by the design studio polychromelab—led by award-winning product designer Michele Stinco and Elisabeth Frey—the company has evolved over the years into an alpaca farm with a very distinctive design philosophy. In 2012, Stinco and Frey received multiple awards—including recognition for sustainability, material innovation, and exceptional design.
Today, at the Serfaus Alpaca Farm in Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis, the couple develops and produces high-quality ski, outdoor, and lifestyle apparel made from sustainable materials—100% locally sourced, resource-efficient, and handcrafted. Particularly innovative: Instead of needle and thread, they use ultrasonic welding, which makes the clothing extremely durable. The two have been running an alpaca and llama farm since 2017 and, in strict adherence to the principles of a circular economy, develop products from their own fine-hair alpacas. "The Flow of the Gods" Over the years, the concept has evolved so that everything—from the “birth of the animals to the finished product”—comes from a single source.
