Description

The barrier-free section is part of the cross-country trail A5 Obern and leads from the Moos Rödlach car park to the underpass in the district of Ostbach.

This is a daily freshly groomed trail. However, icy and slippery patches may still occur.

Trail entry point:

Opposite the Moos Rödlach car park P11

Trail character:

The easy, 3.4 km long route is ideal for beginners or leisurely sledge cross-country skiers. Sunny sections along forest edges and fields as well as views of the Hohe Munde and the Wettersteingebirge ensure a special nature experience. The trail starts opposite the Parkplatz Moos Rödlach (P11) and extends to the underpass in Ostbach. Before the – very steep – underpass, you can turn back and the loop runs back to the starting point.

Note:
In the first third of the route, a narrow side roadmust be crossed. With enough snow, this is possible without any problems. Depending on the snow conditions, however, snow-free patches may occur at this point!

Trail conditions can change during the course of the day depending on the weather. Please note that icy sections or deep ruts may occur. Please adjust your skiing style accordingly.

An overview of the entire trail network (incl. trail status) and helpful cross-country skiing information (ticket machines, waxing and service points, changing facilities,...) can be found in the trail report.
