Description

The barrier-free cross-country trail follows the entire course of the A7 Gasse trail. For barrier-free adaptive Nordic skiing, either the section below or above the L14 state road can be used. A barrier-free crossing of the road is not possible.

This is a daily freshly groomed trail. However, icy and slippery spots may occur.

Trail access:
At the Ganghoferbogen in Weidach (opposite the Fußballplatz).

Trail character:
The total 5.5-kilometer long trail is flat and very sunny. Since it has no climbs or descents, it is particularly well-suited for beginners. The route offers idyllic views and invites you to enjoy the picturesque landscape to the fullest.

The trail leads from the start at the Ganghoferbogen to the underpass of the state road. There, the road crossing can be avoided via a connecting trail. Depending on the chosen section, the trail can be used either above the state road as Obere Gasse (2.2 km) or below the state road as Untere Gasse (3.3 km). The respective route then leads back to the starting point.

Alternatively, access is also possible at the Privat-Parkplatz P8 Weidachbrücke (no designated disabled parking space available). From there, the trail leads along the Leutascher Ache to the district of Ahrn and from there as a loop back to the starting point.

Note: Trail conditions can change throughout the day depending on the weather. Please note that icy sections or deep ruts may occur. Please adjust your skiing style accordingly.

An overview of the entire trail network (incl. trail status) and helpful cross-country skiing information (ticket machines, waxing and service points, changing facilities,...) can be found in the Loipenbericht.
