Description

This circular tour takes you with a child trailer through the sunny Wildmoos plateau – featuring a forest playground at Möserer See, swimming opportunities in a natural lake, and an optional detour to the Brunschkopf viewing platform. Along the route, there are also three places to stop for refreshments.

Two experience stops along the route:

  • Adventure playground “Natur pur” (Mösern) – located just a few meters from Möserer See, near Möserer Seestub’n. Set in a light pine forest over 1,500 m², the playground features a wooden playhouse with slide and climbing elements, a sandpit with digger, a willow tunnel to crawl through, two spring riders, a large basket swing for shared swinging with children, and balance and obstacle elements for different age groups.
  • Möserer See – natural bathing lake for cooling off.

You follow bike route No. 544 Mösern–Wildmoos, starting at the information office in the centre of Mösern. The route leads along paved municipal roads up to Möserer See – this section is slightly steeper. After that, a wide and well-maintained gravel path follows with only short, moderately steep sections.

The stretch between Lottenseehütte and Wildmoosalm is partly asphalted; otherwise, a wide forest track is available. With a bit of luck, you may pass three lakes along the way, two of which are intermittent and not always visible.

From Wildmoosalm, the route continues on the southern side of Brunschkopf through dense forest in the Wildmoos area, looping back to Möserer See and the starting point in Mösern.

Recommended additional stop: Brunschkopf viewing platform (route 5068)
If you plan a detour to the Brunschkopf viewing platform, you can switch to bike route No. 5068 above Möserer See before continuing towards Lottenseehütte.
