We will probably never know whether the Green Pangea Trail owes its name to its relaxed difficulty or the idyllic forest through which it runs. But one thing is certain: the flow trail in Leutasch stands for carefree riding fun. At the summit, the Katzenkopfhütte invites you to take a break and enjoy Tyrolean delicacies.
The wide, flat and flowing MTB trail in the Katzenkopf bike park is ideal for gaining your first experience on a trail bike. The trail starts at the Katzenkopf lift mountain station and winds its way through sparse forest to the Wildmoosalm junction. At the summit, a stop at the Katzenkopfhütte is worthwhile - there is an extra children's menu for the little ones.
The ideal introduction to trail biking for children and beginners: The green trail at Bikepark Katzenkopf Leutasch runs flat from the Katzenkopfhütte to the Wildmoosalm junction and is deliberately kept simple – for getting a taste of it and making your first meters on the trail.
Take the bus from Seefeld, Mittenwald or Telfs to the Leutasch Weidach Zentrumstop.

From Innsbruck via the A12 Inntal motorway to the Seefeld/Garmisch exit and continue over the Zirlerberg to Seefeld and then to Leutasch. From the direction of Landeck/Reschen via the A12 to the Telfs Ost exit, then over the Telfer Berg to Leutasch. From Garmisch via Mittenwald to Leutasch.
Coming from Seefeld, turn left at the first intersection after the Weidach town sign. The Parkplatz Katzenkopf (P14) is located there in approx. 150 metres. Coming from Telfs or Mittenwald, drive through Weidach towards Seefeld and turn right at the intersection by the Bushaltestelle Leutasch Weidach Kreithkapelle.
Important parking notice: The Parkplatz P14 "Katzenkopf" may only be used with a valid mountain lift ticket. Without a valid mountain lift ticket, please park at Parkplatz P15 "Musikpavillon" – Leutasch.
