We will probably never know whether the Green Pangea Trail owes its name to its relaxed difficulty or the idyllic forest through which it runs. But one thing is certain: the flow trail in Leutasch stands for carefree riding fun. At the summit, the Katzenkopfhütte invites you to take a break and enjoy Tyrolean delicacies.
The wide, flat and flowing MTB trail in the Katzenkopf bike park is ideal for gaining your first experience on a trail bike. The trail starts at the Katzenkopf lift mountain station and winds its way through sparse forest to the Wildmoosalm junction. At the summit, a stop at the Katzenkopfhütte is worthwhile - there is an extra children's menu for the little ones.
The ideal introduction to trail biking for children and beginners: The green trail at Bikepark Katzenkopf Leutasch runs flat from the Katzenkopfhütte to the Wildmoosalm junction and is deliberately kept simple – for getting a taste of it and making your first meters on the trail.
Take the bus from Seefeld, Mittenwald or Telfs to the Leutasch Weidach Zentrumstop.
