Long-distance cycle path Bikepacking Tour Tirol - Etappe 3 Variante B

Seefeld / Karwendel
Difficulty ratings: difficult
Route length: 80.0 km
Duration: 7:19 h

Perhaps our favorite of the stages - if you have first-class fitness and technique, we clearly recommend choosing the variant through the Karwendel! With two crisp climbs, the mighty nature park is crossed here, past mountain huts, waterfalls and over the Plumsjoch. Here you should have a particularly good grip on the handlebars - after all, we don't want to take the name too literally!

Tour character

The difficult variant of the third stage leads deep into the wild Karwendel and requires very good fitness and safe riding technique with two striking climbs and 1,730 meters of altitude. Challenging passages on the Plumsjoch, partly on narrow trails, meet great natural moments: , the secluded location of the Karwendelhaus, a waterfall directly on the trail, the expansive Ahornboden and impressive views of Lake Achensee shape the character of this spectacular high mountain stage.
