Description

Description:
The route leads uphill through the forest on a wide forest path. First, it goes along the Carl Hirnbeinweg, a popular adventure trail with play and information stations. After a short descent, we leave the Hirnbeinweg and follow the forest path towards Hauchenberg. Although the route descends again just before the ridge, it is recommended to follow the path to the observation tower on foot. From there, you have a majestic panoramic view from the Zugspitze over the Allgäu Alps to the Swiss Säntis and from the Westallgäu over the Weitnau valley to the Iller valley.Safety guidelines:

  • Always ride at a controlled speed and within half of your sight, especially around curves, as obstacles may appear at any time!

  • Be considerate of hikers and pedestrians and only overtake at walking speed!

  • Take into account the difficulty level of the route and accurately assess your experience and skills as a biker! Protect your head with a helmet and check your equipment before starting every bike tour (brakes, bell, lights)!

  • Adhere to barriers and accept that this path primarily serves agricultural and forestry use! Close the pasture gates!

  • Respect nature and wildlife, do not leave the marked route, avoid riding off the opened paths, and finish your bike tour before dusk. Do not leave any waste!
