Over small, hidden lakes we reach the ridge of the Senkele, from which we enjoy a wonderful view of Säuling, Branderschrofen and Hochplatte. At the foot of the mountains lie Lake Forggensee and the two royal castles Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau. The northern main route continues along the shore of Lake Hopfensee to Füssen with its impressive old town. Along the Lech, we cross the border into Austria and approach the destination Reutte.
