The circuit around Going is a lengthy and demanding tour with a great variety of different sections.
You start the tour at the Tourist Information Office in Going and follow the Auweg along the stream in the direction of Blattlhof. Go through the underpass and follow the trail past the Hotel Blattlhof till you come to the Blattlkapelle chapel where you turn left. Follow the gravel path over the wooden bridge till the path bears left again into the forest. The route now takes you along the road in the direction of Wochenbrunneralm, where you turn right towards Brennhütte and follow the trail to the farms in the district of Schwendt.
Once you reach the farms you begin to ascend the Schwendterweg trail heading straight on in the direction of the Wilder Kaiser massif till you reach the forest, where you turn right onto the Kaiserweg. Follow the Kaiserweg to the intersection at the Pension Schipflinger and then turn left onto the Kapellenweg heading for the bathing lake. You now go straight ahead on this trail past the bathing lake and follow the Aschauerweg, where you have a lovely view of the Kitzbüheler Horn mountain - a moment to enjoy, and there’s also a bench by the trail for you to have a welcome rest. When you come to the Aschauer Bauernhöfe farms you follow the road and then turn right onto the Aschauerweg, a gravel path which leads to the main road. Go over the road on the pedestrian crossing and follow the Achenweg past the Reischerwirt in the direction of Reinache. Turn right at the crossroads and follow the Reitherstrasse past the football pitch, turn left before the main road and follow the trail along the stream back to the starting point.
