Forest Road, Hiking Trail
The hike starts at the “Asching” parking lot in Buchberg. From there, a forest road—which can also be used as a toboggan run in winter—leads to the Aschinger Alm mountain inn. Below the inn, keep to the right and continue hiking to the Zahmer Kaiser mountain inn, which is currently closed. Just behind the inn, a forest trail leads onto a hiking trail, and you’ll return to the Aschinger Alm via a loop to the right. From there, take the same route back to the parking lot.
