Moderately difficult hike on forest paths and forest trails to the great view from the Pendling summit. It's truly remarkable what you can see from the striking summit above Kufstein - in the depths and in the distance. Not far from the summit, the Pendlinghaus is a fantastic place to stop for refreshments from July onwards, offering culinary delights and panoramic views from its wonderful sun terrace high above Kufstein. On the way back via the Kalaalm (open from May), you will often look down to the ground, especially in spring, when heaps of snow lilies stretch their delicate yet strong heads out of the snowy remains into the sun.
This mountain hike with summit takes you from Schneeberg in Thiersee along a narrow trail to Pendlinghaus (Kufsteinerhaus). A wonderful and unique panoramic view and the cosy lounges invite you to stay a while. The path leads partially via forestry roads and via the Kala Alm back to the starting point.
Bus line 4046 to the bus stop "Thiersee Pfarrwirt Mitterland". From here an additional 180 metres in altitude difference can be covered to Alpengasthof Schneeberg. There and back it is approx. 1 1/4 hours more time to plan. With the KufsteinerlandCard within the region bus free of charge.
