Arrival by public transport
A beautiful, comfortable and highly popular hiking trail in the near vicinity of Ladis. The continuing trail to Neuegg has one steep segment above the Oberer Asterhof.
At the castle pond in Ladis (L009) go left towards Obladis, hamlet of Greit (L057). At the last group of houses, turn right on the flat Greitweg trail, along the slope to the Kneipp therapy area and then to the mittleren Asterhof (L052, 35 min.). From here, walk left on the forest trail and get back easy to Ladis or at the lower placed crossing (L051) to the oberen Asterhof up to Neuegg (1 ½ hours).
