Description

The mountain hike begins in Rinnen / district Rauth at the car park. From the car park, follow the wide, graveled hiking path in the right direction, cross the bridge and the creek and always follow path No. 614.
Past Rotbach to the hairpin bend. In the hairpin bend you come to a narrow path. Leave the wide path and follow this narrow path. Pass the Raazalpe-Galtalpe (closed) over beautiful alpine meadows, keep right. Ascent to the next crossing. Turn left there (signed Steinkarspitze - on the right you get to the Galtjoch) and follow this path through partially rocky, exposed terrain up to the summit of the Steinkarspitze.

Descent options:
- the same way back to Rauth
- Descent to Kelmen
- Descent via Reuttener Höhenweg, Galtjoch and Abendspitze back to Rauth

IMPORTANT NOTES:
●   Stay on the marked hiking trails
●   Keep your distance from grazing animals
●   Be aware of the mountain hut opening hours
●   Alpine emergency call: 140
