Description

Hiking from hut to hut. Decide for yourself whether you want to relax in the Stallenhütte or dare the still rewarding ascent to the Lamsenjochhütte. Approach by car via the village of Fiecht in the direction of St. Georgenberg, past the Weng car park, to a small individual farm on the right. The tarred road is replaced by a gravel road until finally the entrance to the Bärenrast car park branches off to the right. Now it is time to leave the car and walk along the romantic forest path to the Stallenalm. Soon the impressive rock faces of the Karwendelgebirge with its huge gravel rocks are in sight. From the stable floor you can often observe chamois in the rock walls.

During the summer months the Stallenalm is open and offers hikers snacks to drink or eat. From the Stallenalm you follow either a hiking trail or a coarse-grained mountain road to the Lamsenjochhütte (beds, storage, refreshment facilities). For this ascent you still need approx. 2 hours. The tour goes back the same way.
