Description

A picturesque hike begins at the impressive Schlegeis Reservoir and takes you to the border between Austria and Italy. Follow trail number 524, which gently ascends into the Zamsergrund. After about an hour, you'll reach Lavitzalm, 2.100 m, where the "Pfitscher Joch grenzenlos" exhibition is also located. Continue until you reach your destination, the Pfitscherjochhaus, 2.275 m. On the way back, you'll return via the same route. Optionally, you can extend your hike from Pfitscherjochhaus, 2.275 m, to Rotbachlspitze, 2.897 m.
