Interactive adventure: Life on the alpine pasture
Cattle drive in danger! The cows have gone missing. Join Max, the alpine herdsman, on a search for clues – download the Locandy app and help solve the interactive puzzle along the Four Alpine Pastures Trail in Hochfügen.
From the bus stop/car park, follow the signs towards Lamarkalm. Walk a short distance uphill along the gravel track before the lovely hike begins just before the first alp: turn left over a small bridge and through the alp pastures into the forest. Head downhill along the Pfaffenbühel ski run and then steadily uphill again through the forest towards the Pfundsalm. The final stretch follows a gravel track, past the second alp – along the Finsingbach stream to the crossroads. Keep left towards the Viertelalm, cross the bridge and then climb briefly across alpine pastureland. At the alp, the path turns left again – on level ground but always with a view of Hochfügen – first along a quiet gravel track and then through the woods and across several streams to the Holzalm. From there, a track leads downhill, past the Aarwirt, Sporthotel Lamark and Almhof, along the tarmac road to the car park / bus stop.
