Description

The Marienweg trail begins in Sebi, where you follow the main road and turn left just before the Fuchsanger Inn, heading toward the Schwemm Nature Reserve. Once you reach the Schwemm Nature Reserve, continue along the road to the village center of Walchsee. The trail then continues uphill to the Ottenalm and descends through the Edernalm to Kössen. Follow the road toward the center of Kössen. Before the wooden bridge, turn right and follow the riverside path along the Großache. At the next bridge, you can turn right through the Niederhausertal valley to reach Kirchdorf. Otherwise, continue straight ahead and, after the small bridge, turn right through the Kaltenbach district. At the next intersection, turn right along Hagerstraße until you reach the turnoff toward Loferberg on the left. Then turn right twice and follow the road. On the left, toward Klausenbergalm, you can continue on to Reit im Winkl; otherwise, continue following the road to Erpfendorf.
