Oberhofen - Oberhofer Melkalm mountain hut
From the municipality of Oberhofen, the hike initially leads south along the road to the Reasnhof farm. Turn left there and follow the well-maintained forest path, which winds steadily uphill through the idyllic countryside.
After about an hour's walk, you reach a junction that leads directly to the Oberhofer Melkalm. The ascent becomes a little steeper, but the path offers beautiful views of the landscape time and again.
Once you reach the top, the catered mountain hut invites you to take a well-earned rest. From here, you can enjoy a marvellous panoramic view of the Inn Valley and the surrounding mountains.
For the way back, follow the same route down to Oberhofen. This medium-difficulty hike offers a successful combination of gentle climbs, beautiful nature and culinary refreshments.
