Short tour with varied paths and views
Start the hike in the village centre of Scheffau. First walk along the asphalt road past the church and up to the Leiten district. Follow the signs and forest path no. 41 through the forest to the Gaisberg car park. From there, the route continues for a short distance on tarmac in the direction of Jägerwirt. You pass a beautiful plateau on which the Schießling farms are located. After enjoying the view of the valley, turn right onto a field path to the Jägerwirt. From there, take the hiking trail (no. 814) along the Mittersbach stream back to Scheffau.

Heading from Wörgl, Kufstein or St. Johann on the B178 road, take the exit to Scheffau. Shortly before you come to the church, you will see the Tourist Info and the hiking starting point on the left-hand side (short-stay parking zone).
