In addition, one of the most important sights of the silver city of Schwaz, the Freundsberg Castle, can be visited at the entrance.
The entrance to the Schiller-Mensi-Weg is directly at the parking lot of Freundsberg Castle. Following this it goes towards Pill, again and again with wonderful views over the snow-covered valley, especially the winterly Karwendel. The path goes imperceptibly downhill until you cross the asphalted Arzberg road, onto Björnson Weg and then onto Piller Hubertusweg towards the centre of Pill. The return journey is either on foot or by bus.
