Description

The tour starts at the Kaiserbachtal parking lot. From here you hike a short distance along the toll road until a forest road branches off in the direction of Scheibenbichlalmen. Hike along the forest road until you reach the shortcut through the forest. Now walk through the forest, crossing the forest road again and again, up to the Untere Scheibenbichlalm. From here, the tour leads over the Schneebichl to the Obere Scheibenbichlalm.

Once you arrive at Schneebichl (1,470 m), you have a fascinating panoramic view of the north walls of the Wilder Kaiser. You will encounter the mighty mountain massif at eye level, and the view extends all the way to lake Chiemsee. The hike now takes you along a path through mountain pines and alpine meadows down to the Vordere Ranggenalm. The dairyman from the Ranggenalm produces a tasty cheese from the fresh milk. When he has time, he also serves thirsty hikers. Now you hike down into the Kaiserbachtal valley. Along the Kaiserbach stream, past the Fischbachalm (place to stop), you return to the starting point.
