Description
Start: at the hiking car park Faistenau in Rettenschöss (free with Kaiserwinkl Card) Pass the Gasthof Schöne Aussicht and then immediately follow the signposted hiking trail to Wildbichlalm (open for refreshments). From the Wildbichlalm along the forest road to the Karkpof with summit cross. Walk the same way back and then right across the alpine meadow to Rettenbach. Here turn left and follow the forest path to the right branching way to the summit cross of the Wandberg with a very beautiful view. About the alpine dairy Burgeralm and Wandberghütte (both open for refreshments) the forest road back to the starting point.
