Description

The town of Imst has a special relationship with SOS Children's Villages. Since the first children's village was founded here in 1949, an idea has been spreading across the world: Hermann Gmeiner's visionary concept of giving children from difficult family backgrounds hope and a future.

A nature walk through the past and present
Eleven lovingly designed interactive stations around Bergl and Steffelwald forest provide insights into the work of SOS Children's Villages and its history. A story that is worth telling again and again! The varied circular trail is easily accessible, making it an ideal destination for the whole family and groups. You can expect touching stories, playful discoveries, artistic figures and attractive places to rest.
