St. Christoph - Wirt
The hike up the Wirt starts at the Arlberg Pass at the Valluga Inn in St. Christoph. The first signposts lead to the Kaltenberghütte/Berggeistweg. On the way, the Patteriol can be seen very well. After about 1.5 hours, hikers reach the ridge height. At this point, the route up the Wirt leads up 630 meters of altitude without a path to the summit (2,339m). Alternatively, hikers can walk around the Berggeistweg at the same altitude or continue to the Kaltenberghütte.
